Judith Nanette Brewster, 54, Kansas City, Mo died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Vitas Hospice in Kansas City, MO. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Mo with Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Zoo or L.L. Dog Rescue.
Judith was born August 27, 1967 in Harrisonville, Mo to Joseph Earl and Peggy Lucille (Potts) Brewster. She was adopted and raised by her grandparents, Frank and Mable Brewster. Judith graduated from Harrisonville High School. She worked in donor services at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and she also worked as a docent at the Kansas City Zoo for 18 years.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one uncle, Harry Brewster. She is survived by her sister, Cheryl Brewster of Kansas City, Mo and an uncle, George "Gene" Brewster and his wife Violet.
