room to provide comfortable accommodations as the marker is officially dedicated.  Ralph
Monaco of Jackson County and Carol Bohl of Cass County will be with us and an invitation
has been extended to our friends in Vernon County.  Officials from Bates County and
Enbridge Pipeline will also join us.  Enbridge Pipeline presented the Bates County Historical Society a financial grant that provided funding for the bronze marker.  Special Note:  Word has been received that “Captain Bill Anderson” plans to   make an appearance.  He has recently been seen throughout the State promoting an upcoming Civil War re-enactment, so it is quite possible the rumor is true!
