Weather Update: Old Man Winter Returns

Old Man Winter just can't let go and is bringing another chance for accumulating snow to northern Missouri and extreme northeastern Kansas on Monday. At this ti...me it appears an inch or two is possible during the day on Monday mainly along and north of the Highway 36 corridor, the main east-west route in the northern tier of Missouri.

Additionally, grasses and other fine fuels remain extremely dry. Afternoon humidity values will again drop into the 20 to 30 percent range this afternoon across northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. Winds will blow from the north at around 15 mph throughout the day as well. This will lead to high fire danger across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.
