Timmy L. Rhoades, 29, Harrisonville, Missouri who wearing a seat belt, northbound in a 1992 Ford F-150, was merging from an exit ramp and sideswiped a 2007 Saturn Outlook northbound by Danica M. Harris, 24, Topeka, Kansas and also wearing a seat belt.
Two passengers in the Harris vehicle were injured. Sarah E. Mosqueda, 28, Topeka, KS, wearing a seat belt, had minor injuries. Nyajia N. Washington, 12, Topeka, KS, wearing a seat belt, experienced minor injuries. Both were transported to the Cass County Medical Center by Harrisonville EMS.
The Rhoades vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.The Harris vehicle had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper R.J. Hastings investigated the accident and was assisted by Corporal J.E. Thuss.
