| The scene West of Passaic late this afternoon |
Around 4 p.m. this afternoon the Bates County Sheriffs Office responded to the report of a man barricaded in a 5th wheel camper trailer. The location of this was 6 miles West of Passaic on F Highway then North on County Road NW 6001. Upon arrival, deputies gained information that the subject had left the trailer and surrounded the perimeter including a wooded area south of the residence.
Further investigation revealed the subject was still inside the trailer and was taken into custody without incident. A full press release from the Bates County Sheriff's office will be posted on Bates County Live in the next few days.
