Minor Traffic Accident Outside of Butler this afternoon

Around 1:55p.m. this afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Bates County Sheriffs Office responded to a 2 vehicle accident in rural Butler. The location of this accident is County Road 2004 just West of County Road 4003. 

The accident occurred when the Caterpillar 120H heavy machinery equipment  driven by 73 year - old Donald Lesmeister of Butler, MO backed into the 2002 Ford Explorer driven by 57 year old Kerry S. Webb of Butler,Mo. 

Mr.Lesmeister wasn't injured in this accident and his vehicle was driven from the scene. Kerry Webb was taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
