Silver alert issued for man suffering from onset of Alzheimer’s

A silver alert has been issued for Leroy Bryant, 80, missing
since 11 a.m. Thursday.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Leroy Bryant, 80, has been missing since 11 a.m. on Thursday after he walked away from the area of 5000 Haskell Avenue and didn’t return to his caretaker. A silver alert has been issued for him by the Kansas City, Kan. Police Department, which says he is suffering from the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.

Bryant is 5 feet and 8 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing red pants rolled up at the bottom, a baseball cap, tan shirt, black and white windbreaker and wire frame glasses. He arrived to the metro from Denver, Colorado two days ago, but is originally from KCK and is known to frequent the areas of 17th and Quindaro Blvd., 7th and Nebraska Ave. and 8th and Central Ave.
