VFW Flag Retirement‏

Adrian, Mo. VFW Post 1935 will conduct a Flag retirement ceremony Sat. June 14, 2014 at 8:00 AM at Lt. Charles Garrison Veteran's Memorial. Assisting will be Scouts from Troop 238. U.S. Flags that are no longer suitable to fly are retired in a dignified and respectful ceremony.

The public is invited to attend. As each flag is retired, we read the name of a deceased veteran. If anyone would like a name read, just let us know before the ceremony. The ceremony lasts about one hour, so bring a lawn chair. June 14 is Flag Day and your support is appreciated.
