Funeral services for Twylah Manser will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, July 21 at Christ United Methodist Church in Independence, Missouri. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Christ United Methodist Church, Spofford Children's Home or Della Lamb Community Services.
Twylah Ileene Manser, age 92 of Independence, Missouri formerly of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence in Independence. She was born August 28, 1921 to John Melvin and Winniw Isabelle Tuttle in Kansas City, Missouri.
Twylah is survived by her husband, Lynnville Manser of Independence, Missouri; three sons, Gary Manser and wife Jean of Independence, Missouri, Lyndon Manser of Kenai, Alaska and Kevin Manser and wife Kathy of Sibley, Missouri; two daughters, Kiran Irwin of Ft. Worth, Texas and Vickie Jesse of Raymore, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John “Buck” Stokley; one sister, Beverly Phipps; and one granddaughter, Alison Irwin.
