Obituary - William Jennings Bryan Davis, Jr.

William Jennings Bryan Davis, Jr., 76, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at his home in Harrisonville. No services are scheduled. A private burial will be held in Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri. 

William was born August 8, 1937 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of William J. B. and Alice Dean (Taylor) Davis. He attended Peculiar High School. William married Gertie M. Brown on October 2, 1959. He had lived in Belton, Missouri for 34 years and Peculiar, Missouri for 22 years before moving to Harrisonville. William had worked for Jack Hansen Overland Hauling Inc. as a truck driver. 

William was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gertie on November 23, 2005, and one sister, Francie Mae Davis. He is survived by two sons, Bryan Davis, Arizona and Terry Davis and his wife, Angie, Kingsville, Missouri; two daughters, Donna Albright, Raymore, Missouri and Kathy Crick and her husband, Jon, Independence, Missouri; one brother, Harold Davis and his wife, Marietta, Freeman, Missouri; one sister, Mary Lou VanVleet, Osceola, Missouri; and 3 grandchildren, Dillon, Delaney and Donovan Davis.
