On
early morning hours of August 26, 2014 Bates County Sheriff deputy was
dispatched to a truck on fire at County Road 17002 just west of County road
9001.
The truck was a 1968 Chevy
C10 Pickup stolen from Cass County Mo. When the Sheriff Deputy arrived on scene
he discovered the vehicle to be on fire and sitting on blocks.
The suspect or
suspects jack up the vehicle and removed the tires and wheel before sitting the
truck on fire.
