Funeral services for James Gregory "Jimmy" Wells of Butler, Missouri will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler with Evangelist Bill McLaughlin officiating. Friends may visit after 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, September 11-12 at the home of his mother, Patricia Scarvers in Butler. Contributions may be made to the Sickle Cell Foundation.
James Gregory "Jimmy" Wells, age 51 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born May 24, 1963 to Clarence Edmond Wells Jr. and Patricia Ann Scarvers.
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Patricia Scarvers of Butler, Missouri; a son, Jameal Scarvers, three daughters, LaShaunta Scarvers, Erika Scarvers and Marissa Wells; two brothers, Edrick Scarvers Jr. and Damien Wells; a sister, Cathleen Renee Scarvers; and five grandchildren, Dontue, Airmee, Haylee, Adrian and Zahara.
