Graveside memorial services for Stanley LeeMasters will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 19, 2014 in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. There is no visitation. Samuel Stanley LeeMasters, 86 of Butler, Missouri passed away September 15, 2014 at his home in Butler. He was born August 18, 1928 in Butler, son of Samuel and Mary Alice (Hedges) LeeMasters.
Stanley was born and raised in Butler, and graduated from Butler High School in the class of 1947. He married Nancy Mae McConnell December 5, 1952. He worked at LeeMasters & Son Salvage yard, and also in construction for over 30 years until he retired in 1994. Stanley was a member of the Elks Lodge, and was a 50-year member of Laborer’s International Union of North America. He loved hunting, trapping, fishing, gardening and bingo.
Stanley was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by a son, Sammy LeeMasters of Butler; daughter Patty Stevens and husband Lance of Duluth, Minnesota; son Michael LeeMasters and wife Debby of Butler; grandchildren Deidre Goins, Lance Stevens, Jr.; Aaron Stevens; Jason LeeMasters; Deandra Owen; Trevor Stevens; Delista Craft and Jesse LeeMasters; as well as 14 great-grandchildren.
