St. Clair County Sheriff's Office: Burglary in Schell City


On Oct. 6, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary report on Y Highway, Schell City. Larry Dade said he arrived at the farm and noticed a door to a building was open. He reported several items missing from the building. Items included two Stihl chainsaws, a Stihl hedge trimmer, a Stihl commercial weed eater, a Sears commercial battery charger, a Sears four-ton professional floor jack, a Milwaukee cordless drill, a Sawzall, a right angle drill, a six inch circular saw, and four milk crates full of copper wire spools. The estimated value of the items totaled $2,900. No value was given on the copper wire at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
