Dorthy Aileen Weaver, 95, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville. Dorthy was born July 12, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Erma Ruth (Roberts) Smith. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She was married to Norman Weaver and together they owned and operated Weaver Jewelry in Holden, Missouri and Harrisonville. They moved to Harrisonville in 1960.
Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman Weaver, a brother, John Smith, and her son, David Alan Weaver on January 11, 2001. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sharon Weaver, Harrisonville, Missouri.
