Kenneth L. “Monty” Purvis, 73, of Grandview, passed away July 10, 2015 in Belton. Monty was born March 19, 1942 in Appleton City, MO to Kenneth and Loene Purvis.
He was a good man and a wonderful father. He never knew a stranger and was loved by all who knew him. His smile could light up a room. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother and 1 sister, Susan.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, sons Terry and Rickey, daughter Jennifer, grandson Jordan, father Kenneth, brothers Larry Purvis (Vicki) and Danny Purvis (Carol), and sisters Patti Young (Ron) and Debbie Angell (Don).
