Two arrested in St. Clair County

On June 21, Jacob Harper, 25, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class C felony domestic assault-second degree. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
The charge stems from an incident on May 30 when Harper allegedly assaulted a female victim during an argument. Harper allegedly grabber the female by her arms and threw her down onto a bed and put his hands around her neck and squeezed tightly, choking her.

On June 23, Michael Parmalee, 36, Lowry City, was arrested by Lowry City Police Department on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on an unclassified misdemeanor of driving while revoked second or subsequent. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.
The original charge stems from an investigation on Feb. 24 when a St. Clair County deputy made a traffic stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and Hancock Street, Lowry City, for careless driving. Contact was made with Parmalee, who was driving the vehicle and a check revealed his driver’s license is revoked.
