Around 6:30pm on 9/5/16 the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a occupant who fell out of a vehicle on Route B and CR 9606 in rural Bates County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Toyota 4-Runner driven 56 year old Deborah L. Desteuben was traveling Southbound when the occupant in her vehicle 53 year old Lisa M. Whisler of Rockville, Missouri fell from the vehicle.
Lisa M. Whisler sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
