She was a graduate of Trotwood High School in 1966 and from nursing school in 1968.
Rose was a registered nurse who began her career in Dayton, Ohio at Good Samaritan Hospital and later moved to Orange Park, Florida where she retired from the medical field as the head of Outpatient Surgery at Humana Hospital of Orange Park. She moved to Blue Springs, Missouri in 2008 to be close to her son and grandchildren and has lived in the Pleasant Hill, Missouri area since 2013. She enjoyed sports, crocheting and literature and loved Jesus Christ. If there is a ball field in heaven, she is the Lord’s new starting third baseman. The great and loving contributions she made to her children’s lives cannot be measured. We can only look forward to our happy reunion. Rose was an active member of the Blue Springs 1st Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a regular patron of the Kansas City Missouri Temple.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas Hale and Joseph Hale.
She is survived by her three sons James Michael (& Annette) Longo of Orlando, Florida, John Francis (& Pam) Longo of Dothan, Alabama, and Daniel Patrick (& Melissa) Longo of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Mary, Carol, Terri, and Amy and brothers Mike, Pat, and Larry, other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, all are welcome. Mr. Daniel Longo will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Services are under the care of Stanely-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
