The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1998 Mitsubishi driven by 18 Year old Austin Cooper of Butler, Missouri lost control on the ice covered roadway and struck a concrete culvert.
Austin Cooper along with two passengers in his vehicle 18 year old Samantha Blankenship and Mayleigh Cooper (Under the age of 1) all sustained minor injuries in this accident and all three were transported by private vehicle to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and left secured roadside for tow at a later time.
