On Jan. 17, a St. Clair County deputy took a stealing report from Robert Hood, NW 1150 Road, Montrose. Hood stated he located fresh tire tracks going into his property and a chain on his gate was cut. He said a pile of tires was moved to open the gate.
He noted he inspected his property and a John Deere Industrial Gator UTV was missing. The UTV was painted industrial orange with a green fender on the right side.
It has a diesel engine and is a 4x6 with all new tires. The value of the UTV was estimated at $2,500.
