On 12/31/16 around 1;41pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Taney County responded to a two vehicle accident on East Missouri 76 Highway at Candlestick Road in Taney County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the east bound 2003 Toyota Camry driven by 45 year old James Trowbridge of Alpena, Arkansas slowed to yield for a emergency vehicle and he was struck from behind by the 2002 Ford Focus station wagon driven by 22 year old Betsy Rea of Nevada, Missouri.
Mr. Trowbridge sustained minor injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Branson, Missouri for treatment.
Both vehicles sustained minor damages and both were driven from the scene of the accident.
