Funeral services for Helen Hill will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.

Helen Maxine Hill, age 94 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born March 8, 1922 to William Frederick and Ethel Lessie Haynes Engelhardt in Butler.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Hill and husband Tom of Odessa, Missouri; one brother, Bill Engelhardt and wife Celia of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three sisters-in-law, Anna Lou Englehardt of Adrian, Missouri, Violet Hill of Blackfoot, Idaho and Dorothy Zellmer Vetter of Boise, Idaho; a brother-in-law, Don Ferguson of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Alison Hill and Ashlee Smith and husband Scott; one great-grandson, Kellen Smith; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herbert in 1985; one son, Herbert Brent Hill in 1960; one brother, Kenneth Engelhardt; and one sister, Mildred Ferguson.
