St. Clair County Warrant Arrests

During the late night hours on Jan. 18, a St. Clair County deputy was patrolling on TT Highway, Osceola, and noticed a vehicle parked on the side of the road with no one around. Further investigation found four individuals hunting for arrowheads. A check discovered one of the individuals, Darren Troxel, 49, El Dorado Springs, had an active St. Clair County warrant for his arrest. Troxel was arrested on the warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor resisting arrest. The warrant was issued in October 2015 and stems from an investigation in February 2015 when Troxel ran from a St. Clair County deputy who was at a residence in Collins looking for another individual.
On Jan. 19, Erika Bootier, 24, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant for probation violation on four original counts of class C felony forgery. The warrant was issued on August 31, 2016 and bond is set at $5,000 cash only. The original charges stem from incidents in December 2014 when Bootier cashed four checks that were stolen from an individual.
