Stolen vehicle from Texas recovered in St. Clair County

In the early morning hours on Jan. 17, a St. Clair County deputy responded to Highway 82 at NE 775 Road, Osceola in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. Once on scene a blue Lexus 300 was located in a ditch. 

A check on the license plate came back the vehicle was registered to an individual from Willard. It was also noted the plate was reported stolen out of Springfield.

A check of the vehicle identification number came back the vehicle was reported stolen from Garland, Texas, on Dec. 15, 2016. The vehicle was towed and contact was made with the Garland Police Department.
