She departed this life on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Lee's Summit Medical Center, Lee's Summit, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 20 days.
On October 5, 1968 Barbara was united in marriage to Glenn E. "Sonny" Taylor in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Barbara was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family, playing video games and on line poker games. She had lived in Nashville before moving to Harrisonville in 1967.
Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, Easley, James and Dewey Perdue; a sister, Dorothy Perdue; a half sister, Bonnie Ownes.
Barbara is survived her husband, Glenn E. "Sonny" Taylor of the home; two sons, Ryan W. Taylor and Matthew A. Taylor both of Harrisonville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chloe and Carly; two brothers, Wayne Purdue, North Kansas City, Missouri, Kenneth Purdue, State of Tennessee; a half brother, John L. Sullivan, State of Alabama; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Freedom Point Church, 212 Main Street #B Garden City, Missouri 64747.
Final arrangements entrusted to Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
The family suggest that memorial contribution may be made to the Freedom Point Church Memorial Fund, Garden City, Missouri.
