Large jail riot in Johnson County Missouri

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is currently dealing with a riot inside one of the pods in the jail. 

We have requested assistance from our neighboring counties including Cass and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

The inmates have been contained inside the building and no injuries to staff members. More information will follow at a later time.
