Andy is survived by his two sons, Jim Cowan of Liberty, Missouri and Fred Cowan of Marshall, Missouri; two step-sons, Dan Bates and John Bates both of Kansas City, Missouri; one step-daughter, Madelaine Cockrum of Kansas City, Missouri; one grandson, Terry Cowan; six step-grandchildren; four great step-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas.
