From the US Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District

Our district has restricted releases from our three large water holding reservoirs (Stockton, Pomme de Terre and Truman Lakes) in south central Missouri to help reduce the water flowing into the high water areas downstream in the Osage River Basin over the last several days - this will continue until conditions have improved.

We have a representative working with the state of Missouri and have activated our Emergency Operations Center to partial activation level II to actively monitor the changing situation.

We are providing support with 100K sandbags and an automatic sandbag-filling machine with technical support. We stand ready to assist! #usace Little Rock District, U.S. Army Corps of EngineersU.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwestern Division
