The Hume Alumni committee will meet on Sunday, May 7 at the legion hall at 3:00 p.m. Any alumni member is invited to attend the organizational meeting. Alumni will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
The Senior Class left on their Senior Trip to Florida early Tuesday morning. We wish them a fun and safe Senior Trip.
The O5O Club met on Monday, May 7 for a carry in dinner at the Hume Community Center. The next carry-in dinner will be on Monday May 15 at noon. All are invited to attend; good thing is you don’t have to be over fifty!
The Hume Fair Board held their front cover design contest that the students of the Hume School participated in this past month. In the Senior Division – 1st place went to the Senior Class, 2nd place went to the Junior Class and 3rd place went to the Sophomore class. In the Junior Division 1st place went to the 6th grade class, 2nd place went to the 4th grade class and 3rd place went to the 1st grade class. The Senior Class won the design for the front cover while the 6th grade class will be on the inside front cover. All of the class designs will be in the Hume Fair Paper. The kids always do a great job in their designs. All the students will be treated to DQ ice cream at the end of the year for their participation.
The Hume Fair Board is also looking for Prince, Princess and Rodeo Queen Candidates for this year’s fair. Fair dates for this year are August 1 through August 5 and we look forward to seeing you at the Hume Fair.
