Members of the Henry County Sheriff's Office attend firearm instructor training

Members of the Henry County Sheriff's Office recently attended a 45 hour training course to become firearm instructors. The training, which was held in Jefferson City at the Missouri Sheriff's Association Training Academy, consisted of shooting exercises and scenarios along with classroom instruction and a demonstration of their ability to properly instruct other students in an academy setting. Although the weather was not the best for outdoor range instruction, the participants were able to complete the rigorous training. Attending the training were Detective Leonard Kubilus, Major Robert Hills and Deputy Brandon Oaks.
