Isabel Bond

Isabel Bond, 77, Nevada, MO passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Kansas University Medical Center, in Kansas City, KS. Isabel was born May 6, 1940 in Seneca, MO to William and Cora (Clark) Clemons. She was united in marriage to Willard Bond on November 22, 1959 in Nevada, MO and together they raised six sons. Willard preceded her in death on March 7, 2017.

Isabel was raised in Seneca and graduated from Seneca High School Class of 1958. She worked at 3M in Nevada until her retirement in 2002. Isabel was a 4-H Leader, an avid collector of coins and Depression glass, and was known for her good cooking and compassion to others. She loved her family and was especially devoted to her grandchildren.

She is survived by five sons, Tim Bond and his wife Stacy, Nevada, Kevin Bond and his wife Susan, Moundville, Jamo Bond and his wife Lisa, Nevada, Jeff Bond and his wife Myra, Nevada, Jason Bond and his wife Margaret, Nevada; grandchildren, Kyle Bond, Lucian Bond, Collin Bond, Darcy Bond, Brady Bond, Hannah Bond, Adrian Bond, and Hallie Bond; one great-grandson, Connor Dean Bond; two sisters, Tommi Graham, Topeka, KS, and Mary LeeMasters and her husband Dean, Colorado Springs, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Willard, she was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Bond; four brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Nevada
