The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Dodge Charger driven by 24 year old Colby J. Mooney of Osceola, Missouri ran through the median crossing the northbound lane and striking some trees.
Mr. Mooney sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Bray's Tow of Osceola, Missouri.
