Nicole Galloway, Missouri State Auditor, has announced that she will present her office’s findings from the state audit of Harrisonville city government on Wednesday, May 24, 5 p.m., in the Harrisonville Community Center.
This meeting will be open to the public, and audience members will have an opportunity to ask questions of the auditors. Printed copies of the report will be available that evening and will also be available for viewing and download on the auditor’s website.
In addition, the City of Harrisonville will also provide a link to the online report on the city website.
The state audit stems from a citizen petition drive in 2015. Auditors began their examination in January 2016 and presented their findings to the Board of Aldermen in March for their responses which are included in the report.
