The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Mazda 6 driven by 16 year old Stormy B. Hopgood of Lamar, Missouri ran off the roadway, through a fence and struck a large hedge post.
Stormy B. Hopgood along with a passenger in her vehicle 15 year old Raineie C. Peterson also of Lamar, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to the Barton County Memorial Hospital.
The vehicle received moderate damages and it was secured in the field to be towed at a later time.
