The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1999 Lexus driven by 55 year old Denise M. Gulley of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was eastbound on Missouri 58 Highway when she failed to yield and struck the northbound 2002 Oldsmobile driven by 74 year old Jesse T. Hammond of Lees Summit, Missouri.
Mr. Hammond sustained minor injuries in this accident but he refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
The Oldsmobile was totaled and towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
