On 07/28/2017 at approximately 6:00 AM, Clinton Police Officers responded to call of a deceased subject behind the Benson Convention & Exposition Center, located at 1008 East Sedalia Avenue.
The subject was located and determined to be deceased. The death investigation is ongoing and no names will be released pending notification of next of kin.
Preliminary investigations do however indicate that the cause of death was suicide.
