At about 09:00 this morning Officers of the Garden City Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of Lake Road on a report of an assault.
Officers contacted a 21 year old woman from Garden City walking down the street outside the residence.
The 20 year old woman had struck a 40 year old woman from Garden City in the head with a large statue.
The woman was taken in to custody and transported to the Cass County Jail. The victim refused medical treatment.
