Lees Summit Bomb Squad called into Raymore home

This evening, a resident cleaning out a home on North Crest Drive in Raymore located suspicious, possibly flammable material at the property. 

The resident immediately contacted the Raymore Police Department and, out of an abundance of caution, our officers contacted the Lee's Summit Bomb Squad to help dispose of the material.

Because the safety of our residents is our number one priority, some individuals from the immediately adjacent apartments are being asked to evacuate temporarily as Lee's Summit officers work at the scene.
