A Harrisonville school staff member allegedly had inappropriate contact with a student, according to a statement to parents sent by the district.
The district was made aware of the allegations on Friday and then contacted law enforcement and the state Children’s Division.
“The District remains committed to protecting our students and ensuring that they have a safe learning environment,” the district said.
The investigation is ongoing, and no formal charges have been filed.
