| Rodger Lynn Culbertson |
Rodger graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1972. He worked for Sac-Osage Electrical Cooperative for 42 years, retiring in January 2017. He was an outdoor person and enjoyed country living. He raised cattle and liked to hunt, fish and play golf. Rodger loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren and was involved with their activities. He will be remembered as one who deeply cared about others and helping people especially family and good friends.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Scott Culbertson, Daytona Beach, FL; daughter, Jamie Lynne Hilbers (Brian), Peculiar, MO; grandchildren, Shayla, Makenna, and Dayne Peculiar; brother, Rick Culbertson (Diane), Nevada; step-father, Clifford McDaniel, El Dorado Springs; step-brother, Mike McDaniel, Buffalo, MO; nieces, nephews extended family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ron Culbertson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Walker, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
