She attended St. Peter's Catholic elementary school. She went to high school at St. Teresa's Academy, and graduated in 1981.
She spent the majority of her working career at National Catholic Reporter as a receptionist. Therese was always a loving person, and she spent the last few years of her life living on, and helping take care of the families' farm.
She is survived by her daughter, Remi McDonald; son, Jacob McDonald; father, Robert L. Johnson; brothers, Robert (Donna), Bruce (Jackie), Noel, Paul, and Joseph Johnson; sisters, Amy Rogge (Jim), Donna Barnett, and Wendy Register. Therese was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30p.m. on Wednesday, August 16th, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
