James Loyd Wainright, a 36 year old white male from Joplin, MO was taken into custody by members of the South West Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Joplin Police Department.
The suspect is currently being held at the Joplin City Jail on a $250,000 cash only bond for the following charges:
3 - counts of Enticement of a Child {RSMO #573.023 class B felonies)
Wainright, on three separate occasions, allegedly approached juvenile males (all under the age of 14 years) who were walking near Hatten Park in Webb City and asked them to perform a sexual act while he recorded them.

Wainright, on three separate occasions, allegedly approached juvenile males (all under the age of 14 years) who were walking near Hatten Park in Webb City and asked them to perform a sexual act while he recorded them.
Luckily none of the juveniles carried out Wainright’s request and they immediately told their parents.
Wainright was driving a silver 2008 Mazda four door car with a spoiler on the trunk when he approached the juveniles.
