Update: Two Bates County Sheriff's Deputies released from the hospital after crash near Archie

On 8/28/17 around 5:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies and Archie Police responded to a two vehicle accident in the southbound lanes of I-49 around mile marker 148.6 in the construction zone near Archie.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2001 Ford driven by 25 year old Jesse C. Williams of Adrian, Missouri overtook and struck the trailer that was being pulled by a 2014 Chevrolet driven by 44 year old William L. Perryman of Rich Hill, Missouri causing the trailer to overturn and come to rest on it's side  in the middle of the roadway.

Mr. Perryman along with a passenger in his vehicle 33 year old Justin G. Corbin of Adrian, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damages and both were towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.

Mid America Live News spoke with Sheriff Chad Anderson and he advised us that both deputies were released last night from the hospital and both are expected to make a full recovery. He also would like to thank everyone for the prayers and continued well wishes.
