The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2013 Taotao ATM500-A1 Moped driven by 40 year old Jeremiah W. McClymond of Clinton, Missouri struck a dip in the roadway and became airborne, overturning and ejecting the driver off the moped.
Mr. McClymond sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment.
The moped received minor damages and it was driven from the scene of the accident.
