Carol Rae West, age 78 of Butler, Missouri died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born August 10, 1939 to Charles Rees and Ruth Emma Bell Townsend in Topeka, Kansas.
Carol is survived by her husband Kenneth West of Butler, Missouri; two sons, Jeff West and wife Delores of Lamar, Missouri and Joe West of Butler, Missouri; one daughter, Stephanie Moore and husband Tim of Bodega Bay, California; one brother, Charlie Townsend and wife Bonnie of Clinton, Missouri; two sisters, Ree Groff and husband Wayne of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Sharon Heatherington and husband Jim of Clinton, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Jade, Keegan and Guthrie. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mark West; and one grandson Tyler West.
