Funeral Service begins at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Cullen Funeral Home.
Graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 11th, at the Czech Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mary was born August 16, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ernest and Marie (Kopacka) Hyden. On December 30, 1978, Mary was united in marriage with Lawrence “Larry” Forrester.
Mary loved working with her hands and was employed for over 15 years as an assembler for Dwyer Instruments in Grandview, Missouri. Mary loved traveling the world with her husband and visited France, Hawaii, Italy, Switzerland, Thailand, Hong Kong, Mexico, and several Caribbean islands.
Mary moved to Seoul, Korea with Larry when he transferred for a job assignment. They lived there for almost two years and Mary brought home an adopted Korean puppy. She loved animals and flowers, but her family always came first in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Marie Hyden; and one grandson, Jakob Wade. Mary is survived by her husband of 38 years, Larry Forrester; children, Denise Simpson (Scott) and Shane Coley (Tina Robb); sisters, Doris Nunn, Evelyn Besse and Kathryn Reidell; six grandchildren, Lacey, Chris, Chance, Bradley, and twins- Morgan and Megan; and 2 great-grandchildren, Kaylyn and Brysen: mother-in-law, Joan Forrester, and many friends.
