On 9/10/17 around 11:10am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Northbound 7 Highway at I-49 in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2016 Kia Optima driven by 57 year old Anthony A. Freitek of Kansas City, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve causing the vehicle to travel of the left side of the roadway,becoming airborne and striking the ground before overturning.
Mr. Freitek sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
