The Missouri State Highway says the accident occurred when the 2011 Ford F-150 driven by 21 year old Danielle P. Strickland of Peculiar, Missouri attempted to make a left hand turn and struck the 2016 Lexus NX200T driven by Kelli L Shrewberry-Jones of Peculiar, Missouri head on.
Both women sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by GT Tow and J's Southland Tow.
