Update: Clinton man killed in accident

Charles M. Smarr, 58 of Clinton, Missouri died following a one-vehicle wreck on Missouri Highway 13, near the Route JJ intersection, at 1:44 p.m. on Friday September 15th.

The death of Mr. Smarr was confirmed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Smarr is the 11th person to die on county roads this year, tying the total set in 2016. He is the fourth killed on county roads in the last three weeks.
